Gräfe und Unzer, the Munich publishing company, has begun producing a whole new line of books. With this new initiative, the publisher will be availing itself of the opportunity of publicizing authors and topics that are not linked to a specific genre or type of literature.
The new program will be gambling on individual titles with the aim of producing bestsellers. Emphasis will be on specific how-to and other specialty books, linked to a particularly strong and well-known author or to a famous organization. The quality writing will have added value in mind. The Gräfe and Unzer program will come as a surprise to their general readership. The personality of the author will be brought to the fore, communicating an original point of view to the reader, and the books will express a new outlook on the world whilst still being entertaining.
The first three titles were released in early 2007. The famous German actress Ursula Karven is also a highly trained and experienced yoga teacher. Her advice is readily available in Yoga - für Dich und Überall" (Yoga - for You and Everywhere).
Weight Watchers, the leading health and fitness organization, unveiled the "10 Diät-Mythen und die ganze Wahrheit ("10 Diet Myths and the Whole Truth").
